- Men's Golf Day
- Either visit the driving range or putt in your living room, but get ready to join the men of NorthStar on May 10th at 7:30am on Van Patten Golf Course in Clifton Park for a day of Team Play "Texas Scramble" golf. Teams of men, from pre-beginner to tour-pro will be matched together. Greens fees are $32 per person for 18 holes, no cart is included. Sign up early - even if you've never picked up a golf club! In case of inclement weather it will be rescheduled for May 17th. (contact us)
- Discovering NorthStar 101: Membership Class
- If you have been attending NorthStar for at least 2 months and want to take your commitment to the next level, then this class is for you. Saturday, May 24 from 10am-Noon at our church offices. (map) Lunch is provided afterwards. Space is limited so sign up early. (contact us)
- Ladies Book Club
- If you enjoy reading and want to meet other ladies at NorthStar, then this book club is for you. Come together to discuss each month's Christian novel. This club will help you learn more about female characters in the Bible and will help you strengthen friendships. The next meeting will be held at Panera in Clifton Park on Sunday, June 1st from 4pm-6pm. We will be discussing Francine Rivers' "Unspoken," a novella about Bathsheba. - PALS (Parents And Little Stars) Event
- The next PALS event will be held at Hoffman's Playland on Route 9 in Latham at noon on Friday, June 6th. Please email Toni at mamalyng@aol.com if you plan to attend or would like more information. PALS is open to parents with children 4 years of age and under and is a great way to meet people at NorthStar.
- Hosting an Intern
- Would you be interested in hosting a college intern? We have a female college student who is interested in interning with us for the summer and she needs a place to stay from the end of May to the end of July. A host would also be responsible to make sure she has two meals a day. Contact us if you would be interested in hosting her as she gains practical experience for ministry.
- NBA Championship
- Are you ready for some basketball? March Madness is over, but don't forget about the Pros! Plan to join the men of NorthStar to watch high energy basketball of East vs. West, and witness the team to come out on top. Event will take place at the Welson's home. Dates and what to bring are TBD, so stay tuned!
