BASIC INFO

I was born in Peoria Illinois. My family moved to a small town in southwest Iowa when I was in Junior High and that's where I graduated High School (with a class of 31). After I graduated, my family moved across the Missouri River into Nebraska and I started attending the University of Nebraska (GO HUSKERS!) Meanwhile, I was spending my summers up at Camp Calvin Crest in Fremont, NE. This is where I developed a passion for serving youth, as well as where I met my lovely wife Alicia. Alicia and I left Nebraska in the summer of 2008 because of her job, and it is that job that has brought us here to New York.

EDUCATION

I have a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and I will be starting my Master's in Secondary Education soon.

INTERESTS AND FAVORITES

PLACES: Camp Calvin Crest, sunny beaches in the Caribbean, and any place where it's possible to enjoy God's creation and get away from the chaos and noise of everyday life.

ODD FACT

If there are chips and salsa in front of me, I will continue eating them until one of them runs out, or someone takes them away, regardless of the size of the containers.
