BASIC INFO: I grew up in a small, rural town in North Carolina. In fact it was so small there wasn’t even a traffic light and we were the first house to get mail delivered on our street. After graduating high school, I moved to Virginia and attended Liberty University where I met my beautiful wife, Maryanna. After college we married and moved to Atlanta for a few years before coming back to my wife’s home state of New York in 2003. We started NorthStar that year with just 6 people. A year later, 2004, my precious Annabelle was born, in 2007 we had sweet Adeline, and in 2010 God blessed us with a son, Rykard. They have forever stolen my heart.

EDUCATION: B.S. in Religion from Liberty University with a minor
in Business Administration; Master of Arts in Religion
and a Master of Divinity from Liberty Theological Seminary. Currently completing a doctorate degree.

INTERESTS AND FAVORITES

PLACES: Any place on a river fly fishing or in the mountains back
packing. But mostly I love any time at home playing with my 3
children. Lastly, places that only Mary and I know.
WHATS ON YOUR IPOD?: U2, Coldplay, Sanctus Real
WHAT DO YOU TiVo/DVR?: Modern Family
BOOKS: All of them. I can’t stop reading.
SPORT TEAMS: Yankees & NY Giants
MOVIES: It seems like if the DVD player is on these days it is a Disney princess movie.
HOBBIES: Fly-fishing, backpacking, maple syrup, and anything that involves wearing camo.

I write and eat with my left hand, but I do everything else like a right hander.
